The Russel Foster mid season break, for all our mini soccer teams, gave our under 8 Eagles a chance to visit their sponsor, MacDonalds. They have sponsored this team for two years providing strips and equipment. Luke, the store manager, really appreciated all of the team coming along to say thank you for their support. The staff were brilliant giving every player a free meal and Easter Eggs.
The support for grass roots football by McDonalds provides much needed funds for teams across the country and our local Newton Aycliffe restaurant have been keen to follow this young group of boys and girls. Elsewhere many games were postponed but the results for the few that were played: Whinney Banks 1 v 1 Under 12’s Under14 Falcons 3 v 3 Great Ayton Under 11’s 3 v 9 Hemlington Royal Friendly Under 7 Eagles 6 v 2 Newton Aycliffe Jnrs.
