Newton Aycliffe Youth FC, Girls, travelled in numbers to the Russel Foster League Presentation Night, to collect their well deserved awards for the season.
Under 14’s picked up the First Division championship having won all 21 league games, scoring over 100 goals. This was a huge achievement for this group of girls.
This was followed by the Under 10’s Wildcats taking their First Division championship, in the final season before moving up to 9-a-side.
The Under 9’s Angels, in their first full season of league football secured a league and cup double as reward for a fantastic season.
The Under 7’s Wildcats, are the youngest of our girls teams and won the league and cup double going through the whole season undefeated.
The success of all these teams is, in part, as a result of the clubs Wildcats development sessions. This is aimed at girls from 4-7 years old, being introduced to football in a relaxed and fun environment with our qualified coaches, who have many years experience in coaching the novice girl looking to start their footballing journey.
