A local youth theatre group for 8 to 11 year olds is now into final rehearsals for their latest production “Beauty and the Beast”.  CATS Youth Theatre Group will stage the family show at the Civic Hall, Thursday 10th, Friday 11th, and Saturday 12th October, at 7.30pm. A final performance is on Sunday 13th October, 2pm. Two local young people take on main roles in the production, Cain Harrison is the Prince whilst Madalyn Patrick is the hideous Beast. Other local girls amongst the 45 strong cast are  Bethany and Lucy Elgey, Charlie Grayson, Elizabeth Timmiss, Emily Neal, Georgia Brown, Hannah Goddard, Grace Patrick, and  Poppy Burton.
A spoke-sperson said “The production is roughly based on the Disney film with a few new characters added, but still keeping the original story. There is lots  of music, dancing and a lot of laughs to be had too in this young people’s production. Something for all the family to enjoy”
Tickets for the Thursday 10th October performance ONLY  are £3 each. Friday to Sundays performances – tickets are £4-50 Adults, and £2-50 Children (5-15) £1 (3-4) and £2-50 Concessions.
