U13 Falcons v Guisborough A very important point against a much improved Guisborough side. Aycliffe dominated most of the game but the ball just didn’t want to find its way into the back of the net and no luck went our way. The point today however is crucial in the grand scheme of things as the League Championship is still in our hands with one game to go. FT 0-0 MOM Adam Askew
Under 16’s Eagles v Brompton, Playing on a perfect and large pitch was ideal for Aycliffe to play good football on. The lads used the width and moved the ball quickly from the start of the game and were rewarded with 3 excellent goals before HT. The second half continued as Aycliffe piled on the pressure and giving a great team performance FT 6-1 Ryan Harris 2, Nile Rutter 2, Jacob Tabberer and Danny Pickering.
After a slow start to the season the boys have done great to get a this position where, with 3 games left, we still have a chance of runners-up in the league.
Under 11 Falcons v Washington A great first half for Aycliffe with an early goal through Declan, followed by a second goal courtesy of Callum who scored a goal from the edge of the box. HT 2-0. Callum then split open the opposition defence to gift Declan a second goal. Washington grabbed a goal before Leon went on a mazy run beating four players to lay Noah off for a curled finish into the top left corner. FT 4-1. MOM Callum.
