Woodham Academy students have been praised for their excellence after creating a range of high-quality products for their GCSE coursework.
The Year 11 Design and Technology students have produced creative and original pieces of practical work for their controlled assessment.
The now-completed products range from models of national landmarks and sports stadiums to dresses and children’s toys.
Students developed products using a wide range of materials and techniques such as pewter casting in order to produce high quality work.
Stacey Oswald, Head of Design and Technology, said: “Our students have designed and created products of an exceptionally high standard. Their talent, creativity, and hard work have impressed us all, and they should be very proud of what they have achieved.”
The Design and Technology department also recently celebrated success with 100 percent of Year 11 students passing their exam in engineering, constituting 25 percent of their NCFE Level 2 qualification.
