Following the announcement of the re-opening of Woodham Golf Course old and new members are returning in numbers to sign up. They know they will be playing on a much improved course with super new facilities in the clubhouse which will also be open to the general public.
Local family business, Halls Construction, have invested a huge amount of cash in this facility including new drainage, and a completely refurbished clubhouse.
Neville Hall will be running the golf course business helped by his daughter and accountant, Sarah, while popular Golf Pro Ernie Wilson looks after bookings and the shop assisted by his daughter Rebecca.
The shop is already well stocked and Ernis is open now for sales of everything from tees through to clothing shoes and golf equipment.
The course is open, and the small bar, but some work is ongoing for the next fortnight on the clubhouse ready for a grand opening of the new bar and restaurant run by Mandy and John from the Bay Horse at Middridge.
