After winning the South West Durham regional Sportshall Athletics before Christmas, six year 8 boys from Woodham competed at the Durham County Sportshall Secondary Athletics competition on Wednesday 9th January.
The competition was held at the Louisa Centre, Stanley, with the other County area winners Durham Johnston, St Johns and Parkview competing against each other in a variety of field and track events. Woodham were representing South West Durham after winning their area event against Greenfield, Sedgefield, Whitworth Park, Ferryhill and Sunnydale at the end of last year.
