The latest Department for Education school league tables were released last week and once again, Woodham Academy were well placed in all categories. Progress was positive in all areas of the school and there was continued high performance in Maths and English.
Headteacher, Andrew Bell, was delighted with this release, adding “the results were testament to all of the hard work and effort shown by students and staff last year. Placing sixth in the county for Maths and English scores shows that our core curriculum is a real strength. I was absolutely delighted with the Ebacc percentage, which has us placed third in the county overall.”
“We remain focussed on delivering a broad and balanced curriculum for all students, allowing them to study sciences, languages, humanities and options of their choice. Congratulations must go to all of our school community and we look forward to further improvements this year”.
