The Winner of the Scarecrow Competition in our Nursing Homes this year was Defoe Court.
This is the second year Defoe have won, so huge congratulations to them. A special ” Scarecrow” trophy was handed over to staff and residents by Rev. Ann Anderson, Rector of Great Aycliffe Parish and Pam Lovelass, APA presented them with a Tesco voucher to buy the residents some treats to enjoy.
Thank you to all Nursing Homes who took part in our competition. The voting was close with St. Clares Court coming a very close second, Rose Lodge were 3rd with Aycliffe and Lindisfarne following.
