Dear Sir,
I was born in Thornley Colliery, and have lived in Newton Aycliffe for the past 16 years and really love the place,
I remember seeing Honest John at the boot sales under the car park in the town centre years ago and he is still going from strength to strength and the donations he hands out are staggering! He must have given a lot over the years, and my main question is……Can this town not give him some recognition for all the good causes he helps? If every community had someone like him what a difference it would make.
I do not know Honest John personally, but I must say he does a wonderful job.
