Aycliffe Radio is putting out a request to all town organisations to come along to our Studio and record a five minute info slot about your group.
This is your opportunity to promote your activities to our listening audience, get them involved and even recruit more members.
Aycliffe Radio are happy to record your sound bite for use on the station during the day at no charge to you. Please get in touch via email in the first instance to register your interest. Darren Lowe and Lee Weldon, Aycliffe Radio sports presenters, are keen for any and ALL sports clubs in the town to get in touch and even attend the studio on a Tuesday evening for an interview and discussion about your sport.
During the last two weeks the station has picked up listeners from all around the world, mainly ex-pats who like to keep an eye on what is happening in their home town. Paul McDonald is one of those ex-pats, now living in Sydney, Australia; another is Frazer Sim who lives in Adelaide, Australia. They both tune in when time allows. Both are ex-DJ’s who likes to keep their hands in and have offered to do an occasional set for us.
The running schedule has been updated this week, with more shows, as well as guest presenter slot (for Paul and Frazer in Australia and Andy in Spain) – the Xcel Church will also be providing songs and a Sermon for future broadcast on a Sunday evening.
