Dear Sir,
I was interested in the reasons givern for tree felling and you cannot argue against the fact that diseased trees should be removed.
However there is a case for notifying the general public of trees being felled in their area. After all we have to be very careful not to fell trees on our land without notification and permission from the Council, so it would seem only courteous for them to be just as informative.
To just turn up and pull down trees which to us are precious and look quite healthy is arrogant.
It doesn’t cost much to be nice does it?
