Dear Sir,
A Great Aycliffe Foodbank appeal is needed to alleviate silent suffering of families in need in our midst.
Increasing cuts to funding need is outstripping the demand to intital response and a town wide ongoing donation plan is appropriate to feed the needy.
We have ample drop-off points such as churches community halls, pubs and clubs who I am sure would be willing to assist.
If each Newtonian gave a “mite” the suffering would ease, but is there someone able and willing to organise this? I hope so!
