A number of players from Sedgefield Water Polo Club recently represented the North East region and came away with well deserved medals.
Lauren Chatt and Poppy Stephenson travelled to Watford where they represented the Girls Under 18 team in division 2. Winning all their games meant that the girls achieved not only gold medals but promotion for the north east girls next year into division 1.
Haydn Craggs, Michael Hampshire, Jake Mendelsohn & Matthew Taylor represented the boys Under 18 team at Sheffield the following weekend and lost only one match, meaning silver medals for the team.
Sedgefield Water Polo Club are pleased to introduce levels 8, 9 and 10 in water polo by way of offering FREE sessions for 8 weeks, which are open to anyone wanting to come and try this fun and exciting sport, with the added benefit of being able to achieve a certificate and badge for passing the various stages.
