At a recent Ofsted Care Inspection Walworth School’s residential provision was again judged “outstanding” by the Inspector. The three-day inspection closely monitored all Residential Care Standards of Practice within the school. The Inspector was particularly impressed with the work that staff do supporting the children`s wellbeing, commenting that, “Children make remarkable progress with their emotional health and wellbeing . . . and receive an excellent level of individualised care in the residential provision”.
Head Teacher, Mr. Peter Wallbanks, said, “this is a great achievement for the Residential Provision and we are delighted to see all the hard work done being recognised by Oftsed. As a school we try very hard indeed to support all our children`s wellbeing and social skills development and recognition of this is a testimony to all we try to achieve and the hard work of the staff team”.
