Residents are invited to spend an hour or two this Sunday morning (15th  June)  from 10.30am in West Park helping to clear out some of the algae within the lakes in partnership with the Friends of West Park.
Great Aycliffe Town Council’s Environment Officer, Steve Cooper will be present to explain about this naturally occurring problem before providing a necessary safety talk and equipment before commencing the work.
