Wendy Teague, manager of the YMCA Charity Shop is sending out an SOS. Normally we ask for donations of your unwanted pre-loved items, on this occasion we’re looking for donations of your time.
In England and Wales the YMCA intensively support 228,000 young people every year, ensuring each young person we meet has an opportunity to belong, contribute and thrive. A huge part of our continued success is through funds raised locally in our Retail outlets. To enable us to do this we rely on a team of volunteers.
If you have some free time, have you considered coming in and being part of our team? It’s a great way of meeting new people, although if you’re a regular visitor to the shop you’ll know us all.
