Woodham Academy celebrated Valentine’s Day in style by serving up a hearty menu to pupils and staff.  The Romantic Roulade (Chicken stuffed with tomato and parmesan cheese) was a very popular choice.
For vegetarians, there were Love Boats (Peppers filled with spicy cous-cous).  Then to sweeten up were luscious love cakes (jam shortbread topped with love hearts). Love heart cups cakes were also enjoyed.
Perhaps nothing says “your special” better than a shortbread cookie in the shape of a heart! Linda Vipond, Woodham Academy’s chef, said “Creating dishes around themed days is the perfect opportunity to introduce some new and exciting dishes for our customers to experience.”
