Once the ramp comes down there will be no public access to Upper Beveridge Way therefore the premises there will be mothballed.
We are told these former shops and offices will be tidied up so as not to spoil the look of the area.
It does seem a waste of what could be useful buildings just for the sake of access. Could they not be converted to use as living accommodation or small workplace with private access only from the existing back entrance?
