Pupils arrived at Sugar Hill Primary school on Tuesday morning to find a giant egg on their school field. The alarm had been raised at 7am by the school caretaker, Mr Robinson, and teachers and other staff were contacted so that they could arrive early to deal with pupil and media interest in the strange occurrence. Writing about the mysterious egg, Leah Etherington, a Year 5 pupil, said that students ‘..were shocked at the sight of a giant egg on their school field’.
Ellie Baker, another Year 5 pupil, wrote ‘…Nothing yet has happened but students are investigating…’. The egg currently lies untouched and the baffling case continues….
