Team Champions – Aycliffe Village
Byerley Park and Aycliffe Village Primary Schools had a hugely successful day at the Sedgefield School Sports Partnership Key Steps Gymnastics Competition on 5th March.
Ninety five children from 8 schools took part in the event which was held in the superb facilities at South Durham Gymnastics Club in Spennymoor. The children were judged on a floor routine and also a vault. All of the children showed great concentration and skill and should be proud of their performances.
The results were a triumph for Byerley Park and Aycliffe Village who shared the all-round team trophies and had individual gymnasts scoring well and gaining medals.
