Twins Mark and Phil Harrop from Aycliffe completed the gruelling Ironman Triathlon crossing the line together after a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike race and a 26 mile run.
They raised over £1500 for The Kyran Richmond Fund. a young Chilton lad diagnosed with Juvenile Batten Disease. This is a rare genetic metabolic neurodegenerative disease for which there is no cure.
