A full house witnessed a fantastic routine from one of the UK’s best up and coming comedians.
After recent sell-out gigs at Telewest Arena with Chris Ramsey at The Gala and The Forum it was Aycliffe Turbinia’s turn to host the comic superstar, and a unique opportunity to catch him at an intimate pub gig. He had the audience rolling about from the start of his set, showing why he is so highly regarded on the circuit, and why he has won so many national awards.
His job was made easier on the night, with hilarious earlier sets from support acts ‘Danny Deegan’, who was compare for the night, and the fantastic comedy impressionist ‘Cal Halbert’, who has starred at the ‘Palladium’, ‘Britain’s got Talent’ & ‘Good Morning Britain’
A good night was had by all, proved by the fact we sold tickets on the night, for the next Comedy Night which is a month away. The Turbinia’s Comedy Nights are on the 1st Wednesday of the month, with the next one 6th December, featuring the very funny Phil Chapman described as “An instant hit” by the Liverpool Echo. M.C. for the night is – Freddy Quinne winner of the 2013 Hilarity Bites New Act of the Year, and headline act winner of the EMMA Award for Best Comedienne Ria Lina.
Tickets on sale now at The Turbinia, or online at www.hilaritybites.co.uk £6 advance or £8 on the door
