Every year the Turbinia Pub helps organise ‘Aycliffe Bike Club’ & the Party Fire Engine’s tour round 10 local pubs collecting toys that have been donated to Bishop Auckland Women’s Refuge.
This event has been running for 7 years and has handed over thousands of toys, giving kids a Xmas they could only have dreamt about.
Please support this worthwhile cause. buy an extra present this year and leave it at the Turbinia, unwrapped with the staff, or better still, hand it over in person and greet the cavalcade of motorcycles (many in fancy dress) and the ‘party fire engine’ at 12-15pm.
