The facts I put in my letter regarding police cover in the West Ward were true and not criticism in any way,
I have spoken twice to Ron Hogg the Durham Police and Crime Commissioner and he thanked me for drawing this problem to his attention. He has since dealt with this problem for me and I would like to thank him for doing so.
I read in the letter from Inspector Mark Hall that the West Ward will have a PC on 5th Febuary 2013: PC Holohan.
What I suggest now to the public in the West Ward is if you have any Crime or Anti Social Behaviour to phone 101 and ask for P C Holohan.
As crime and anti social behaviour figures are down by 18%, with our own PC I hope they fall further.
It would be nice if Inspector Hall and our new PC attended the next pact meeting on 7th February 2013 at 6-00 at Burn Hill Methodist Church on Burnhill Way.
All we want now is a new Police Station in our town centre as a base for our Police officers to work from.
