Dear Sir, It’s that time of year again when the Senior Citizens Trips are in full flow. My wife and I have just returned from the Northumberland (Hexham) trip on Thursday the 8th June, and what can I say that hasn’t been said before, another great day out, although the weather could have been somewhat kinder, at least the only time it rained was while we were in the coach.
The time we spent in Hexham, the sun came out and it was a lovely afternoon. The lunch at Langley Castle was as expected absolutely beautiful, I must mention the Herb Dumplings that accompanied the Northumberland Broth, they were the best, as the two ladies in our company could verify. If you are reading this ladies, thank you both for a fun day out, we loved your company, I believe one of you is called Judith but you will know who I mean.
Our thanks and compliments as well to all the hard working staff and management who prepared and presented a great meal in such comfortable surroundings. A special mention must also go to our driver David and his mate Stan for keeping us all entertained throughout the day, personally I can’t wait for next year, what a great treat this is courtesy of the GATC long may they continue.
