Recently a group from Horndale Residents Association visited Glady’s Tea Room at Seaton Carew. which are set in 1940’s style. We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea served by lovely waitresses all dressed in period clothes. The whole afternoon was excellent value with a great atmosphere. We travelled on the Aidensfield Heartbeat bus owned by Aycliffe Bus Preservation Society. If you are looking for an afternoon tea we recommend Glady’s.
Last Wednesday we held a comedy night with award winning comic Patrick Monohan working with Acorn Residents Association and The We-Can Parents Group to bring Patrick to Woodham Golf Club. Patrick was very entertaining and the audience all left very happy enjoying the food provided. Thank you to Patrick, the Golf Club, Richard Agar and Mark Simpson for helping to make the night a great success and a truly community event. Philip Clark, Chairman
