Despite the triathlon season beginning to close ATC members have again been busy throughout the month of September. The first event of the month was the challenging and popular Ironman Wales completed by Dave Wilkin on 9th September; this was an EPIC 2.4 mile sea swim, a 112 mile bike ride topped off by a 26.1 mile run. Dave smashed his own personal record and finished in a time of 12:56:04.
Another Ironman, this time in sunny Italy, saw Stuart Galbraith compete in blisteringly hot conditions making the event even more challenging. Stuart completed the 2.4 mile sea swim, 112 mile bike ride and 26.1 mile run in a fantastic time of 13:21:32.
