Thanks to all our supporters offering everything free: Drive, Enterprise, Charter, Darlington Council, MT Print, Taylors, Hospice Lady Bakers, Wades, Jackson Trees and Newton News – We grossed over £12,000, that exceeds £1500 every hour, and is over £170 generated by every volunteer! So a massive thanks everyone.
We collected around 1720 trees, about the same as last year’s record number. But, by increasing the suggested tree donation, we netted lots more cash.
This scheme was launched a few years ago by Darlington Rotary and has earned the organisation a huge sum of money for local charities.
