Little ACORNS recently visited Flamingo Land with their new T shirts for a day out to say thank you for the work they do in the community. The trip was only possible thanks to Honest John’s donation and Dorothy Bowman for the use of the Aycliffe community bus. The group would like to thank both parties for making this possible and the main ACORN group for allowing us to have a platform from which to work from. We have a few things in the planning stage for the next few months at our monthly meetings. The group meet on the second Thursday of the month at 5:30 for 30 minutes, which is followed by the main ACORN meeting, These are held upstairs in  the Pheonix club, feel free to come along and have a chat or find us at the Halloween Party in the Leisure Centre on Saturday 29th October.
