Happy New Year to the residents of Great Aycliffe and Middridge! I hope this message finds you well.
The Neighbourhood Policing Team in Newton Aycliffe is now complete again and as we start 2018 we hope to improve PACT meetings in the area and hold more community events.
Over the past year or so attendance at the PACT meetings has declined in several areas and I believe that we can be more efficient in the running of these meetings particularly around locations and frequency in order to make the meetings more meaningful.
PACT meetings are an opportunity for Police and members of the public to work together to address issues and problems. The key to success is in working together and PACT meetings moving forward, should be positive and productive.
I therefore would like to invite you to a Public Meeting in the Ash Room, Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre on Thursday 1st February 2018 at 6.00pm.
Our Town and County Councillors have also been invited and I will be at the meeting together with members of my Neighbourhood Team. We look forward to seeing you there!
