M.AD Community Choir are pleased at the success of their New Members nights which were held at Woodham Community Centre for the past 3 weeks. The choir has gained 12 new members and are looking forward to beginning rehearsals properly.
“I joined the choir to make new friends. I had become quiet isolated from my community through health issues and become quite lonely. I saw the article in the Newton News asking for new members and went along to their first New Members night and was made to feel really welcome. The MAD team and members were so helpful and friendly. I am now in my third week and loving every minute. I am so glad I joined.” said Carol
The Choir has now stopped taking in new members so they can prepare for their big charity event but if you feel this is something you would like to join and can commit to the weekly Wednesday rehearsals please contact either Vicky or Sonia on the numbers below.
