Bishop Auckland Civic Society is once again holding the Annual Town Quiz. The Society’s aims are to promote civic interest and co-operation and to raise funds for a nominated charity in the course of an enjoyable social and intellectually challenging evening.
This year’s venue is Bishop Auckland Rugby Club on Wednesday, 4th December – 7.00pm for 7.30pm prompt start.
Once again, the question master will be Glynn Wales. A table fee of £10 (up to a maximum of 6 players), payable on application, will secure entry for each team. Pie and peas will be able to purchase and the bar will be open!
This year, all monies raised during the evening will be donated to Woodhouse Close Community Centre ‘Crisis in the Community’.
