Following a proposal by Councillor R.S. Fleming, Great Aycliffe Town Council, at its meeting on the 11th December, were pleased to recognise Father Michael Campion’s service to the community of Great Aycliffe. The Mayor, Councillor Barbara Clare, presented Father Michael with a gift to commemorate his time in Newton Aycliffe.
The Council thanked Father Campion for being a true Newtonian and wished him well in the future.
