Following on from last year’s successful mini soccer season at Newton Aycliffe Youth, this season under 8’s proudly accepted the trophy for the winners of the TJFA fair play award at the recent league awards evening in Middlesbrough. This season’s results consisted of only 2 defeats none of which were on our home ground.
The seeds of this ongoing success are planted in the clubs player Development sessions. These are run by the clubs Child Welfare Officer Peter Robinson on Tuesday evenings 5.30pm – 6.30pm at the Oakleaf Sports Fields, starting from 4 years old, everyone welcome. Newton Aycliffe Youth also have 17 teams offering competitive football for both girls & boys starting at under 7s right the way through to under 16s.
