The Durham Tigers under 11 team came roaring out of the blocks in their first outing of the 2013 season at the festival at Winlaton. Up against 5 other sides from Peterlee, Cramlington, North Yorkshire, Whitley Bay and Winlaton, in a round-robin format, the team showed their passion and team spirit with 4 wins and a draw to win the festival.
The Club’s Secretary, Phil Selby said “This just shows that with some good coaching and some commitment on the player’s part they can succeed and I think that they will do very well this season if they keep up with their training and work ethic.”
