Tickets are available for the Mayor’s Charity Civic Dinner which is to be held on Friday, 22nd February 2013 in the Sycamore Suite at Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre.
This annual event is hosted by the Mayor of Great Aycliffe who, this year, is Councillor Mrs. Val Raw. The evening will commence with a reception at 7 p.m. followed at 7.30 p.m. by a four course meal with coffee and mints. The evening will then proceed with entertainment and dancing provided by ‘John Melvin’ until 12.30 a.m.
During the evening the Mayor will be holding a raffle and tombola and all funds raised will be donated to her nominated charities which this year are the Butterwick Hospice (Bishop Auckland) and Combat Stress. These charities are truly worthwhile causes and the Mayor would appreciate your support in either attending the event or a donation towards our fund raising.
