Dogs Trust Darlington is holding its’ annual Halloween event for the whole family on Tuesday 30th October. The spooktacular will take place at the Rehoming Centre, based in Sadberge, starting at approx 6.30pm – 8.30pm
The event will consist of hot-dog bobbing for four-legged family members, plus lots of games and treats for their owners. There will also be a spooky ghost walk, plus a fancy dress competition for children.
Entry costs £3.50 per person, which includes a savoury snack. Dogs are admitted free, with all funds raised on the evening helping Dogs Trust Darlington care for hundreds of abandoned and unwanted dogs.
Dogs Trust Darlington Rehoming Centre Manager, Sue Embleton, says: “Our Spook Night promises to be yet another great evening, and we’d love to see some of our former canine residents come back and ‘haunt’ us with their new owners! This year’s event is already proving really popular so book your tickets with us soon to avoid disappointment. The event will also be a chance for the public to meet some of our cracking canines looking for homes including gorgeous crossbreed Levi.
Eight year old Levi is an affectionate, laid back lad who loves fuss and cuddles from his carers. His gentle nature means he would happily live with children over eight and could live with a compatible dog.
Dogs Trust Darlington cares for around 120 abandoned and unwanted dogs at any one time. If you would like to book Spooks night tickets or are interested in rehoming Levi or another rescue dog please call the Rehoming Centre directly on 01325 333 114 or visit at Hill House Farm, Sadberge, Co Durham, DL2 1SL.
Dogs Trust is the UK’s largest dog welfare charity and cares for over 16,000 stray and abandoned dogs each year through its network of 18 Rehoming Centres across the UK and one in Dublin.
