Chris and Barbara Wheeler are pleased to announce that they will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on the 28th March 2020. They had planned to commemorate this event with a cruise from Singapore into East Asia. Unfortunately this has been cancelled due to the Corona virus, however they will be spending a long weekend on the Isle of Skye. Chris is from Fulham and Barbara from Whitby.
They met at Newcastle University and have enjoyed a very successful career in teaching. Having lived in Great Aycliffe for over forty two years they have brought up their son and daughter in Aycliffe Village.
Currently happily retired they enjoy long periods of time in their villa in Greece and when home in England spending time with their wonderful grandchildren.
