Recent meeting include talks on endangered Hedgehogs and an evening of textile spinning and weaving. The July meeting brought David Hastings to talk on the history and work of the RNLI. Members have also enjoyed visits to other W.I. branches to be entertained by John Grundy the well known Architectural Historian. They took Afternoon Tea with Tursdale & Hett W.I. Our members held the annual evening of sweet delights joined by family and friends to enjoy food and fun. We also rallied to a Cake and Coffee Morning to raise funds for the MRI Scanner Appeal. If you are interested in joining us or finding out what the W.I. offers come along to St. Clare’s Church Hall at 7pm on the second Tuesday each month. You will receive a warm welcome.
