Children from Year 1, Mrs Barry’s class, at Woodham Burn Primary were treated to an exciting bus journey around Newton Aycliffe on Thursday 10th June. This was to introduce their new class text, ‘Naughty Bus’.
Neville Jones from J & C Coaches kindly supplied the double decker bus, similar to the one in the story, to allow the children to experience the area they live in from above.
Due to Coronavirus, the children have not had any extracurricular activities away from school and this excited them greatly. Some even went home to tell their parents that they had been all the way to London. Thank you again to Neville and his team for making this happen. Such an exciting experience for the children in this current climate.
