Twelve students from Woodham Academy were delighted to find that they had gained a clean sweep of A* and A GCSE grades when they received their results this week.
The dedicated dozen have significant reward for the application and commitment that they have shown throughout the course of their GCSE studies and between them have amassed an astounding 135 A* and A grades.
Woodham Academy Staff are particularly proud of their achievements.
The work that has been done for all students by the dedicated Year 11 tutors has proved extremely successful.
Differentiated tutor teams provide students in Year 11 with additional support where necessary and allow students to work on subject specific target areas with specialist staff during tutor time.
In response to their achievements Woodham headteacher Christine Forsyth said “Well done to all our students. We know just how hard young people work for these exams and are delighted to see them succeed.”
