The weather is getting very hostile now and I hope, as a hedgehog rescuer, that the influx of babies and juveniles is finished because all rescues are full and over full, including this one, no teeny hog should go without help and a safe haven over the winter months. My rescues are all here and doing very well and are here for overwintering including Baby Dawn who came in from Grange Vets last Friday afternoon, very little at 221 grams, on treatment and gaining weight, also Holly, Tilly, Stevie and Bobby, all will be here till spring.
A special thank you to Valerie, June, Denise, Neil and Caz for their help and donations, a special thank you to Barbara for kindly dropping off some lovely hedgehog microwave bowl holders to sell at our Christmas Fair at the PCP Centre on 10th December.
Susan and Linda of Jorgias Attic is helping me make some nice bits and pieces to sell, please come and see us. I will arrange to have some children’s activity leaflets with me too. Details of raffle prizes will be put on my Facebook page shortly:
