We have had a good week in Rescue, all prickly babies doing well. Molly has a bit to go but is more settled sharing a big cage with Mitzi, they are bringing each other on. Molly has started a course of antibiotics and is being treated for lungworm. Last Friday I visited Julie’s Pets and bought a lovely blue cage for Stan, of course he is very happy in it. Thank you Julie, I am always pleased to visit you. Can I also thank June, as always, Nancy, Lori, Valerie, all the residents of Avon Court, they have all made donations, either goods or monetary, to keep this rescue running, all our hedgies need food, warmth and medical supplies to keep them alive and well till release.
We have made arrangements to hold our Easter Fair with Karen of the Scout Hall for the 12th March, thank you Karen for letting us come back again. We have lots of lovely items and also Marlene will be doing our Tombola, please come and support us.
Many rescuers are still bringing in very small hedgehogs, which is very unusual for this time of year, these need bringing indoors till spring, Bernie’s hedgehog Rescue has about 60+ also some hedgehogs wake up from hibernation periodically to eat so please keep feeding them, they need all the help they can get. Pictured is Molly enjoying her supper and a comfy bed.
