It’s been quite hectic here recently due to releasing and readmitting poorly little hedgehogs but I am now a member of the sleep deprivation society due to having five tinies in the incubator, baby Bea, last Tuesday and on Thursday I took in two beautiful little boys from Chilton. All five are sharing the incubator and are doing well, thankfully. I haven’t had a straight nights sleep for nearly four weeks but it’s worth it to see them thrive.
Also, last Friday, I admitted Dusty from Spennymoor and Parker from Durham, and finally, just when you think you are full, we have to mention the cul-de-sac hedgehog that was spotted by Liam as we all got back from Darlington last Saturday, running across our neighbours drive at 12.30 in the afternoon! Poor boy (Teddy we have named him) has a rather nasty parasite burden but he is doing ok.
Can I thank Maureen for the donation from Neville Community Centre, Lizzie, I am sorry I haven’t had a spare minute to pop your lovely poem on my Facebook page, but things are getting easier these days, Steffie and Nigel for their donation, Stephanie for her help with our fundraisers, also Valerie and June for everything they have done to help me raise money to feed and medicate our prickly pals.
Most good antibiotics cost nearly £90 per bottle but they save these precious souls.
Here is a picture of my beautiful babies, as you can see they are quite happy.
