Yarm Computers Ltd have been providing technology solutions to Customers and Businesses for 30 years. Based on Yarm High Street, the ‘blue building’ has frequently been their trade mark to local businesses and residents.

However, the ‘blue building is no more’, due to the company rebranding and becoming Lucid Technology Solutions. New signage has been erected, the store has undergone a transformation and the building has officially changed colour.

Yarm Computers Ltd have decided to further expand the Business to Business side of the company and are focusing the rebrand based on an expansion and collaboration of their partner companies, YC Business Solutions and their CCTV & Door Entry Department, Synergy Telecoms and DotUK Software Development. These companies have worked alongside each other for many years, however bringing them together as one, allows for a wider range of services to be offered, in a more efficient, business focussed manner.

They are keen to emphasise that they are the same friendly team, with the exception of some new members and that they are the same company, they have just rebranded with a name change to better suit the growth of the business and to better reflect the services they can now provide. These services include IT support, Software Development, Telecoms, CCTV, Access Control, Software Development and Security solutions.

In order to expand efficiently they have begun to make changes to the running of the local store. After Monday 3rd September, customers will no longer be able to ‘walk in’ for technology repairs. An electronic system will be in place to book appointment slots that must be attended within half an hour. Telephone appointments will also be available.

Dean Clarke, Managing Director says “We know the remodelling of the business may be seen as an inconvenience to some of our retail clients, but we are a technology company and we are embracing the systems that are available to us to enable a more efficient service. They will be individually contacted by our team to make sure they understand the process, and if they have any questions we can help.”

Whilst continuing to support local businesses, Lucid have expanded their services to reach businesses all over the UK and Ireland. They will continue to support their local community and hope the support is returned in their future endeavours.
