Dear Sir I write to the person or persons who handed in my pink ipod touch to Newton Aycliffe Police Station I was out with my Mam, Dad and two of my brothers on Sunday 20th August for a bike ride. Mam and Dad had to walk fast to keep up with us, it was funny to see them hurrying along. We ended up at the Oakleaf Sports Complex for refreshments and tea. After tea we all set off back home, we biked ahead and waited at the train bridge in the hope of seeing a train to wave at. My brother started shouting “train coming”, so my Mam started running towards us across the grass, this must have been when my ipod fell from her hoodie pocket. After the train had gone we all carried on back home. At home I asked for my ipod to hear Mam say that it was not in her pocket, my heart sank, I was so sad. Mam went straight out to see if she could find it, when she came back to say that she could not find it, I felt like crying, but Dad said “don’t worry someone might have found it and will hand it in to the police”. I was over the moon to find out from the police that an ipod touch had been handed in on Tuesday.# I hope that the person or persons who found my ipod touch read this, because I thank you from the bottom of my heart for handing my ipod into the police station; I also thank the police officers involved in reuniting me with my ipod, which has lots of precious irreplaceable photos of family and friends.
