Rotary Newton Aycliffe would again like to thank all of those who donated money to their Christmas Santa Charity Appeal.
Despite the weather conditions meaning that three of the evening Santa Tours had to be cancelled, they still managed to collect sufficient money to buy and distribute over 60 Christmas Hampers for the needy of this area and still have some money left over for further local needs.
Rotary President, Jean Thompson, said “I am once again overwhelmed by the generosity of the people of Newton Aycliffe and the surrounding area and can’t thank them enough. The difference that they made to Christmas for over 60 families is brilliant.
