Last Friday Horndale Residents Association collected a cheque for £1000 from Honest John and his great volunteer Val towards the cost of our FREE Community fun day on August 16th Greenfield Community College. Because of this and other funding we are now making the rides etc free. More details in next week’s edition or follow us on Facebook it is going to be a great event. The event is also being supported by Tesco, Durham Constabulary, Bay Horse Middridge, Grannies Kitchen and Greenfield Arts and Community College. A true community event bringing people together.
Our next meeting is this Wednesday 1st of August starting at 6pm with refreshments at 5.45 at Greenfield Arts centre. Our meetings are friendly and open to everyone. They are a great way to meet your local Councillors and other members of our community working to improve the lives of those living and working in our communities.
