Dear Sir,
I was disappointed to read (‘DCC disgrace’) that no action’s been taken after a local resident repeatedly complained to Durham County Council about dangerously overgrown bushes in Taylor Walk. I reported the problem to Livin on 30th July for a friend who lives nearby. The hedging was partly trimmed afterwards, but remains overgrown. I hope that whichever organisation’s responsible will take urgent action.
I know from friends across the town that this is one of many examples. It’s not acceptable. It’s important the council and Livin work together to get the basics right.
